Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Opbuddy mobile application or website (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by Opbuddy Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office in Hyderabad, Telangana, India ("Opbuddy", "we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Nature of the Platform
Opbuddy is a technology-based appointment booking intermediary. We provide a platform that enables users to discover hospitals, view available doctors and specialities, and book outpatient (OP) appointments.
Opbuddy is not a healthcare provider. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or any clinical services. We are not responsible for the medical services, conduct, or outcomes of any hospital or doctor listed on the Platform.
For medical emergencies, please call 112 immediately. Do not use this Platform in an emergency situation.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Platform.
If you are booking on behalf of a minor (person under 18), you confirm that you are the minor's parent or legal guardian and accept these Terms on their behalf.
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Indian law.
3. Account Registration
You must register an account using a valid mobile number and/or email address. A one-time password (OTP) will be sent for verification via WhatsApp or email.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary.
Opbuddy reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.
4. Appointment Booking
Opbuddy displays hospital listings, doctor availability, and appointment slots as provided to us by the respective hospitals. We do not independently verify or guarantee the accuracy of this information.
A booking confirmation and OP ticket issued by Opbuddy is a confirmation of your appointment request. It is subject to final confirmation by the hospital.
Doctor availability, consultation timings, and fees are subject to change by the hospital. Opbuddy is not responsible for any changes made by hospitals after your booking.
You are responsible for arriving at the hospital on time with your OP ticket. Opbuddy is not liable for any inconvenience arising from delays, rescheduling, or changes at the hospital's end.
5. Platform Fee
Opbuddy charges a platform/convenience fee for facilitating the appointment booking. This fee is displayed clearly before payment confirmation.
The platform fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellation by the user or the hospital, except as specified in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
The consultation fee charged by the hospital is separate and is set by the respective hospital. Opbuddy acts as a collection agent on behalf of the hospital for such fees.
6. Payments
All payments on the Platform are processed through RBI-authorised third-party payment gateways. Opbuddy does not store your card, UPI, or banking credentials.
By making a payment, you agree to the terms of the applicable payment gateway.
Opbuddy will issue a payment receipt/invoice for every successful transaction to your registered email address.
7. Cancellation & Refund
Please refer to our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy available on the Platform. Key terms: full refund of the consultation fee (excluding platform fee) is applicable if the booking is cancelled on the same day of booking confirmation before 8:00 PM IST.
8. User Responsibilities
You agree not to misuse the Platform, submit false bookings, or impersonate any person.
You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable Indian law.
You agree not to attempt to disrupt, hack, or interfere with the Platform's technical infrastructure.
You are solely responsible for verifying hospital details, doctor credentials, and appointment information before your visit.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform including the Opbuddy name, logo, design, text, and software are the exclusive property of Opbuddy Technologies Private Limited and are protected under Indian intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content without our prior written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
Opbuddy's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific booking in question.
Opbuddy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of health, medical complications, loss of income, or data loss.
Opbuddy is not responsible for any act, omission, negligence, or misconduct of any hospital, doctor, or medical staff listed on the Platform.
Opbuddy is not liable for any technical failures, server downtime, or errors in appointment data provided by hospitals.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Opbuddy Technologies Private Limited, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
12. Intermediary Status
Opbuddy operates as an intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. Opbuddy shall not be held liable for any third-party content, information, or services provided through the Platform, provided Opbuddy acts in good faith and in compliance with applicable laws.
13. Modification of Terms
Opbuddy reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Platform with the revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
14. Termination
Opbuddy may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation or mediation.

Should not be used to self-diagnose or self-medicate.

3. No Liability for Medical Services
The medical consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and care provided at the hospital is rendered entirely by the hospital and its medical staff. Opbuddy has no control over and assumes no responsibility or liability for:
The quality, accuracy, or outcome of any medical consultation or treatment
Any act, omission, negligence, or misconduct of any doctor, hospital staff, or healthcare professional
Any adverse medical outcome, injury, or harm arising from a consultation booked through the Platform
4. Accuracy of Hospital Information
Hospital details, doctor profiles, available specialities, consultation timings, and fees displayed on Opbuddy are provided to us by the respective hospitals. While we make reasonable efforts to keep this information updated, Opbuddy does not independently verify all such information and does not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or currency. We recommend you confirm appointment details directly with the hospital before your visit.
5. User Responsibility
By using Opbuddy, you acknowledge and agree that:
You are using the Platform solely for the purpose of booking a hospital appointment.
You will not rely on any content on the Platform for medical decision-making.
You are responsible for your own health decisions and for consulting qualified medical professionals.
Opbuddy bears no liability for any health-related consequences arising from your use of the Platform.
