This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all appointment bookings made through the Opbuddy mobile application and website, operated by Opbuddy Technologies Private Limited, Hyderabad.
By completing a booking on Opbuddy, you agree to the terms of this Policy.
1. Booking Fee Structure
Every booking on Opbuddy consists of two components:
Hospital Consultation Fee: The fee charged by the hospital for the OP consultation, as set by the respective hospital.
Opbuddy Platform Fee: A convenience fee charged by Opbuddy Technologies Private Limited for facilitating the appointment booking.
Both components are displayed clearly on the payment screen before you confirm your booking.
2. Cancellation by User
Same-Day Cancellation Rule: If you cancel your appointment on the same day your booking is confirmed, and you cancel before 8:00 PM IST on that day, you are eligible for a full refund of the Hospital Consultation Fee.
The Opbuddy Platform Fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
Cancellations made after 8:00 PM IST on the day of booking confirmation are not eligible for any refund.
Cancellations made on or after the appointment date are not eligible for any refund.
No-shows (failure to attend the appointment without prior cancellation) are not eligible for any refund.
3. How to Cancel
Log in to the Opbuddy app or website.
Go to My Bookings.
Select the booking you wish to cancel and tap Cancel Appointment.
You will receive a cancellation confirmation via email.
Alternatively, you may email us at support@opbuddy.in with your Booking ID and registered mobile number to request a cancellation.
4. Cancellation by Hospital
If a hospital cancels or is unable to honour your confirmed appointment (e.g., doctor unavailable, hospital closure), you will be eligible for a full refund including the Platform Fee.
Opbuddy will notify you of such cancellations via email and/or WhatsApp as soon as we are informed by the hospital.
Opbuddy is not responsible for cancellations made by hospitals and shall not be liable for any inconvenience caused thereby, beyond the refund of the booking amount.
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
Refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days from the date of cancellation approval.
The actual credit to your account depends on your bank or payment provider and may take additional time.
Opbuddy is not responsible for delays caused by the payment gateway or your bank.
6. Rescheduling
Appointment rescheduling is subject to availability at the respective hospital.
To reschedule, cancel your existing booking (subject to the cancellation policy above) and make a new booking.
A new Platform Fee will apply to the rescheduled booking.
7. Disputes
